Charolais Bulls and the Booming Economy
Sun 04 Mar, 2012
From the Desk of Lloyd DeBruycker
The Montana economy is booming, record cattle prices, sheep prices, wheat, and malt barley, now even serious interest in oil production.
Implement Dealers say they have great demand for tractors, combines, and implements. Car, pickup, and truck dealers are also smiling.
In 2010-2011 we had a real tough winter with a lot of snow and rain. This year's winter and spring year has been real open, no snow with unbelievable temperatures mostly 20 to 40 degrees above. It is scary for grass and grain conditions, but maybe March and April will give us the needed moisture.
Partly due to the open winter and temperature our Bulls look fantastic.
