Sale of Excellence

At the 14th Annual Sale of Excellence held May 4, 2013, DeBruycker Charolais was rewarded with several of the high selling lots! Topping the Sale at $12,000 was the “Pick of the DeBruycker Herd”. This highly sought after lot was selected by H&M Cattle Co., Sulphur Springs, Tx. H&M Cattle Co. had previously purchased the high selling Fall Charolais bull in the 2013 DeBruycker Charolais Bull sale in April.

A second “Pick” went to a many times repeat buyer, Siddoway Cattle Co., Brogan, OR. for $11,000.00. DeBruycker also offered Lot 78, BHD Ms Grid N1749, the dam of a senior DeBruycker herdsire, BHD Colbalt S553. This powerful donor cow sold for $11,000 and was selected by a syndication of Bill & Raye Arlitt, Poteet, TX; Rick & Cindy Evans, Brownwood, TX; Rocking S Ranch, Charles & Betty Smith, Jenks, OK; and Darrel & Belinda Newton, Benton, KY.

Several other top lots were the results of using DeBruycker Charolais genetics. At $11,000 was a cow/calf Pair. The cow sired by LHD Cigar E46 and bred to CJC Mr President T122 sold for $9,000 to Rocking S Ranch, Jenks, OK. Heifer calf sired by Cooley Royce sold for $2,000 to Hudspeth Farms, St. Joe, AR. This lot was consigned by Rick & Cindy Evans, Brownwood, TX

Lot 32, a bred cow, sired by CJC Illusion N111, and bred to CJC Mr President T122, sold for $5,000 to Hudspeth Farms and was consigned by Gary & Christel Biggs, Godley, Tx.
